Complete Function Description

  1. Hide by window title keywords: Hides all windows whose titles contain the specified keywords.
  2. Hide by software name: Hides all windows corresponding to a specific process (software).
  3. Hide by software category: For example, selecting "chat software" will hide windows of ICQ, Telegram, etc.
  4. Can hide windows of games, browsers, etc., as well as tray icons of any software on 32-bit and 64-bit systems. It can also mute the sound while hiding.
  5. Mouse control, customizable hotkeys, and enhanced hotkeys to resolve hotkey conflict issues.
  6. Automatic hiding: Boss Key will automatically hide if there is no mouse or keyboard activity.

Important Usage Tips

For game hiding (critical operation):

It is essential to enable Enhanced Hotkeys and click Refresh Windows to add all game program names to the hidden list; otherwise, the games cannot be hidden. Alternatively, use the virtual desktop function.

It is recommended to launch the Boss Key software after running the game, then refresh the windows to identify which ones belong to the game. Some games will open new windows after launching, so you need to add all game process EXE files to the list—missing even one EXE file will result in failure to hide the game.

Troubleshooting for failed hiding:

Right-click on the Boss Key software and select Run as administrator.

Usage Rule

The same hotkey is used for all hiding and showing functions: pressing it once hides the target, and pressing it again shows the target.

Game Protection Mechanism Fix

If a game cannot be hidden due to its own protection mechanisms:

1. Right-click on Boss Key and select Run as administrator.

2. Use the virtual desktop to hide the game, or enable Enhanced Hotkeys.
